First sketchThe First sketch is the most basic one, usually it's just the pose or an idea of what the illustration will look like (if you already have a reference of what you want the illustration to look like, this sketch can be skipped to go straight to the second sketch)Second sketchIt consists of a much more elaborate, stylized, and detailed sketch to provide a better reference for the established drawing. This sketch is detailed enough to identify any errors that need correcting before moving on to the line art.LineArt & FinalThe final stages of the drawing. There may be small changes such as color, lighting, changing or fixing some details, etc.
